Welcome to the Canada Visitor Testing Portal.

Due to the requirements of the Canadian Government, that all travelers to Canada are to have a Negative PCR test
no more than 72 hours, persons requiring testing can make an appointment using this portal.

Please fill out the form below. When your appointment for testing is scheduled, you will receive an email with instructions
on how to prepare for your sample collection. Your sample may be collected at the property of your stay or you may need to visit the laboratory. Please follow the instructions in the email to ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient collection process.

  • 1. I want to book an appointment to get tested.

  • 2. What is the cost to get tested at your office location?

    Answer: $20,00.00 JMD if done at our laboratory. Testing is done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ONLY. SARS-CoV-2 Sample Collections are from 12PM to 3PM local time.

  • 3. Do you offer testing at my hotel?

    Answer: Collections at a hotel are contingent upon a few factors to make it possible. While we are trying our best to serve most major properties, the involved nature may make some properties impractical. Once you have booked your stay in Jamaica, we would then be able to speak with the facility to see if it is possible for an onsite visit. If the visit is not possible, then you will need to do an in-person visit to our Montego Bay or Kingston offices. Testing is done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ONLY. SARS-CoV-2 Sample Collections are from 12PM to 3PM local time.

    Answer: We have two locations where PCR tests can be administered.

  • 5. What type of testing do you offer?

    Answer: PCR on Nasopharyngeal swabs will be the test performed for the SARS-CoV-2. We do not offer any other types of Covid-19 tests at this moment. Testing is done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ONLY. SARS-CoV-2 Sample Collections are from 12PM to 3PM local time.

  • 6. When do I pay for my test?

    Answer: You can pay at the time of service. We accept cash and all major credit cards. No cheques or money orders accepted. Testing is done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ONLY. SARS-CoV-2 Sample Collections are from 12PM to 3PM local time.

  • 7. What days do you do the PCR testing?

    Answer: Testing is done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ONLY. SARS-CoV-2 Sample Collections are from 12PM to 3PM local time.

  • 8. I need to change my appointment. What do I do?

    Answer: You may change your appointment by simply sending us an email with the changes in your departure date, after which we will communicate to you, your new collection date.

  • 9. How long does it take to get my test results?

    Answer: It takes 48 hours to receive your test results. Once the results are ready, you will be notified via email.

  • 10. How long before I return home should I book my test.

    Answer: We recommend all travelers schedule an appointment for testing no less than 7 days before returning to their home country. Testing is done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ONLY. SARS-CoV-2 Sample Collections are from 12PM to 3PM local time.

  • 11. Do you offer rapid tests?

    Answer: We do not offer rapid testing at this moment.

  • 12. What happens if I test positive?

    Answer: You will be contacted by the Ministry of Health regarding the steps to be taken with regards to your isolation and treatment.

  • 13. Do I have to provide a passport number when registering to take a test?

    Answer: Yes. The passport information is used as identification for all international travelers and is required for us to be able to report any results to the appropriate personnel.

  • 14. Do USA residents need to do the PCR test?

    Answer: No. Unlike Canada, the US does not require a PCR test solely. An antigen test is sufficient. This gives US travelers an expanded option of places to get tested. Regrettably, we do not offer antigen or rapid tests at this moment. Please speak to your travel agent or directly with your hotel to inquire about the different locations where your testing needs can be met.

  • 15. I booked my return flight and when entering that information into the appointment system, a message popped up advising the calculated collection date is not valid due to the 72hr collection threshold. What do I do?

    Answer: You will need to speak with your airline about scheduling a new departure date as we would not be able to honour the 72-hour test requirement mandated by the Canadian government. Testing is done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ONLY.

  • 17. Do I need to provide ID on the day of testing?

    Answer: Yes. Please bring your passport with you as your form of identification.

  • 18. I received my appointment confirmation. What is next?

    Answer: You will receive further information via email prior to your appointment. However, on the day of your appointment, simply come to our office between the hours of 12PM to 3PM Jamaica time and the test will be administered. The cost for the test is $20,000.00 JMD and payment can be made at the time of service. We accept cash and all major credit cards. No cheques or money orders accepted. Please bring your passport as your means of identification.
